Agent Venom is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Created by writer Rick Remender and artist Tony Moore, Agent Venom's first full appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #654 (February 2011). The Agent Venom symbiote is bonded to Flash Thompson.

Eugene "Flash" Thompson was a high school bully who tormented Peter Parker but admired Spider-Man. After enlisting in the U.S. Army and losing his legs in combat, Flash was selected to bond with the Venom symbiote as part of a top-secret military project.

As Agent Venom, Flash used the symbiote's abilities for covert operations, fighting crime and terrorism while struggling to control the symbiote's violent tendencies. He has been affiliated with teams such as the Secret Avengers and the Thunderbolts.
